Business telephony

Enterprise phone system. Runs from your pocket.

Numbers, extensions, menus, voicemail and recording — all of it configured from one screen, by you, without filing a ticket and without waiting for anyone.

Managed from a single screen, and every change takes effect immediately.

The same vocabulary the router understands: a flow is a tree of destinations.
1–5guaranteed simultaneous calls, and more on loan when the switch has room
$0.00per incoming minute — answering a customer costs you nothing
0tickets to change anything: you do it, and it takes effect on the next call
*NNservice codes from any handset: forward, do not disturb, park, block

Nothing here places a call: it runs entirely in your browser and shows the model, not a demo account.

What it does

Everything a switchboard is meant to do — area by area

Not a roadmap. Every function below is running in the engine that answers real calls today.

Numbers, extensions and devices

The base: who you are on the phone network, and on how many devices at once.

  • Your own numbersAssigned from our range and live the moment you point them at a destination. Every licence includes 1.over the API
  • Short internal numberingThree or four digits between colleagues, the way an office actually dials.over the API
  • Credentials you can rotateGenerated per extension and revocable on the spot: a leaked one is undone from the panel, not by a technician.real handset
  • Several devices, one extensionDesk phone, laptop and mobile on the same extension — ringing together or one after another.over the API
  • The app sets itself upNo server, port or password typed by hand. The app reads a code and configures itself.over the API
  • Dialable aliasesA short code or an ID number that reaches the right person without knowing their extension.over the API

What happens when it rings

The route a call takes, drawn by you: hours, menus, groups and the way out when nobody answers.

  • Ring groupsAll at once or one after another, with the seconds each one gets before the next.over the API
  • Multi-level menusPress 1 for sales, and inside sales another menu. As deep as your business needs.real call
  • Hours and holidaysOne destination during business hours and another after, with a calendar so a public holiday is not a lost call.over the API
  • Day and night by handThe button for the afternoon you close early. It applies to the next call, not tomorrow.over the API
  • Failure destinationsWhere a call goes when nobody picks up, the line is busy or the menu times out. Nothing is dropped in silence.real call
  • Follow-me, with acceptanceRings your mobile and asks you to press 1 before connecting, so your carrier's voicemail can never swallow a customer.real call

Queues, rooms and reception

What a business with more calls than hands needs — plus the classic moves of a real front desk.

  • Queues with position and waitThe caller hears where they are in the line and how long is left, instead of guessing.not exercised yet
  • Call-back instead of waitingThey hang up keeping their place, and the switch calls them back when their turn comes.not exercised yet
  • Agents on and off shiftWhoever is answering today says so from their phone or the panel: the queue only rings people who are there.not exercised yet
  • Conference rooms with a keyA number and a PIN, arrivals and departures announced by name, and a mute key everybody remembers.not exercised yet
  • Record the meetingThe room recorded, and afterwards the transcript, the speakers told apart and the agreements summarised.not exercised yet
  • Park and pick upLeave a call parked and take it from any other phone — and answer the one ringing at the next desk.not exercised yet

Voicemail, directory and the zero

So that somebody who does not know the extension, or calls when nobody is in, still gets somewhere.

  • Voicemail per extensionMessages recorded and kept as long as your plan allows, each one with who called and when.real call
  • The whole mailbox by phoneListen, save, delete, undo, change your PIN and record your greeting from any handset. No app needed.test bench
  • Written transcriptThe message also as text, so you can tell at a glance whether it can wait.not exercised yet
  • Several greetingsOne for business hours, one for after, and a holiday one that reminds you it is still playing.over the API
  • Directory by nameThe caller spells a surname on the keypad and reaches the person. It handles two surnames, and «Muñoz» is found by dialling 686.test bench
  • Zero for a humanThe most universal expectation there is about a phone system: press zero, reach somebody.not exercised yet

Privacy and control

Who can reach you, who you can reach, and how much all of it is allowed to spend.

  • Blacklist on the flyThe nuisance call that just came in, blocked from the handset while you still remember the number.not exercised yet
  • Anonymous-call filterCallers hiding their number are asked to identify themselves before your phone rings at all.not exercised yet
  • The doormanThe caller records their name, you hear it, and you decide whether to take the call.not exercised yet
  • Do not disturbStraight to voicemail, and confirmed out loud so there is no doubt it is on.over the API
  • Restricted destinationsWhich extensions may call abroad, mobiles or premium numbers, and which may not.over the API
  • Spend ceilingA daily and a monthly cap per account. A dial loop or a stolen credential stops there, not on the invoice.test bench

Recording, law and what was said

A recording is worth something only if it is lawful, findable, and it does not quietly disappear.

  • Rules, not one global switchRecord everything, one number, one extension — or nothing. The rule says what, and for how long.over the API
  • The notice is built inRecording and announcing are the same decision, not a checkbox somebody can forget to tick.over the API
  • Retention you setHow long a recording lives is your decision, and when it expires it is really gone.test bench
  • Signed download linksA recording is shared with a link that expires, not with a file that ends up on somebody's desktop for years.test bench
  • Access auditWho listened to what, and when. Without this, «who leaked it» is a question with no answer.test bench
  • Summary, agreements, speakersThe call transcribed, the speakers told apart and the agreements listed — and searchable by what was said.not exercised yet

You change it, and you check it

Self-service is not a promise here: it is a panel, a flow editor and codes that answer from any handset.

  • A panel in eight languagesNumbers, menus, extensions, queues, rooms, voicemail, directory, reception, filters, hours, music, calls, lines and usage.over the API
  • The flow editorDrag the route of a call on a canvas, try it out, and publish it when it looks right.over the API
  • Codes from the handsetForward, do not disturb, park, block: the *NN that anyone used to twenty years of desk phones looks for first.not exercised yet
  • Self-diagnosis*43 echoes your own voice back and *44 checks your keypad, so «I cannot hear anything» has an answer instead of a visit.not exercised yet
  • Test the audio without callingThe switch rings an extension and plays whatever you ask it to say: you hear the change before a customer does.real call
  • It says numbers properlyTimes, dates, amounts, ordinals and spelled-out letters, assembled from recorded pieces — never synthesised mid-call.test bench

For your own systems

The panel is one client of an API that does the same things. Whatever you change by hand, you can change by program.

  • A real APINumbers, extensions, menus, schedules and call records over HTTP, with a key per account.over the API
  • WebhooksYour systems are told when a call starts, ends or leaves a message. You do not have to keep asking.over the API
  • Click to callYour CRM asks the switch to ring both ends: the customer's phone rings, and so does yours.real call
  • Ask before it ringsAsk where a call to any of your numbers would land right now — hours, holidays and manual overrides included — without placing one.over the API
  • Call records and searchEvery call with its number, its duration and the route it took, and recordings searchable by what was said in them.test bench
  • TLS and SRTPSignalling and audio encrypted, so the call is not readable by whoever happens to sit in between.not exercised yet

Everything on this list is running in the engine today. What is missing is missing on purpose: voicemail-to-email, automatic per-minute charging, the standby trunk and fax are switched off, each for a reason we can explain. Read the full documentation

Plans

What you pay for is guaranteed simultaneous calls

5 plans, from $100 to $300 a year. You are buying how many calls can be up at the same time and always fit — not a bundle of minutes you lose at the end of the month.

Plan Simultaneous calls, up to Of which guaranteed Extensions Recording retention Per year
Turn on JavaScript to see this table — or write to us and we will send it to you.

Guaranteed means guaranteed. Above your guaranteed calls you can borrow whatever the switch has spare, and that is where most days will sit. What is borrowed can be handed back to protect somebody else's guarantee, and only if you allow it. A call inside your guarantee is never taken away.

One number per licence. You can add more, and extra numbers share the same switch: the same flows, extensions, voicemail and panel. A second number is not a second system to look after.

How it is billed today. The plan is annual and every call is metered. Automatic deduction from a prepaid balance is not switched on yet — until it is, minutes are invoiced, and we would rather tell you than let you find out.

Minutes

What a minute costs

Answering costs nothing: an incoming minute is $0.00. You pay for what you dial out, per call.

DestinationPer minute
Turn on JavaScript to see this table — or write to us and we will send it to you.

Prices in US dollars, taxes included. Our carrier meters mobile calls by the second, so a thirteen-second call is not billed as a whole minute. Anything not listed falls under «rest of the world».

How it works

Three steps, and none of them is a technician at your desk

The hardware is ours and it is disposable. What you are hiring is the software and the numbers.

  1. You get your numbersWe assign them from our range, and they go live the moment you point them at a destination.
  2. You draw what happens when they ringPoint each number at an extension, a menu, a group or a voicemail — and test it on screen without spending a call.
  3. You change it whenever you wantEvery change takes effect immediately. Nothing here needs us: if you want to move a menu option at nine at night, you move it.
What makes it different

Everything the panel does, your systems can do too

The panel is not the product: it is one client of an API that does the same things. Whatever you can change by hand, you can change by program.

A real API, not an export button

Numbers, extensions, menus, schedules and call records are all reachable over HTTP with per-account keys. Your CRM can move a menu option or read yesterday's calls.

Ask before it rings

Ask the system where a call to any of your numbers would go right now — taking your hours, holidays and manual overrides into account — without placing a call.
