Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the web hosting services ("Service") offered by For Hosting, a ZARZA brand ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using the Service, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

For Hosting provides managed single-domain shared web hosting on nginx, PHP-FPM and MariaDB, on HDD or NVMe SSD disks in a RAID 1 mirror, with DNS and control panel included. The published resources (storage, RAM, CPU and network speed) represent the maximum allocated to each plan in a shared environment. The Service does not include a mail server, which is sold separately or through a third party such as Google Workspace.

2. Account and Customer responsibility

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of their data, the security of their credentials, and all content and activity on their site. Use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Pricing, payment and renewal

Prices are published in USD on an annual basis. We do not apply "surprise renewals": the renewal price is the plan's published price at the time of renewal. Failure to pay within the stated period may lead to suspension and subsequent cancellation of the Service.

4. Plan changes

The Customer may upgrade or downgrade, and switch between the HDD and NVMe lines at the same price, subject to availability. The ZERO plan may be subject to specific conditions stated at purchase.

5. Backups

The RAID 1 mirror protects against a single disk failure, but is not a substitute for a backup. The Customer is responsible for keeping their own backups of site content and databases.

6. Suspension and cancellation

We may suspend or cancel the Service for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, non-payment, or when usage endangers the integrity, security or performance of the platform or other customers.

7. Availability

We strive for high availability with continuous monitoring, but the Service may require scheduled maintenance or be affected by causes beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless an express service-level agreement applies.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for data loss, lost profits or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Third-party content

The handling of unlawful or infringing content is governed by our DMCA Policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica.
