This twinning estimator returns that percentage from those three facts using a published-shape natural-twinning model: a nearly constant identical-twin baseline plus a fraternal rate that rises toward the late thirties, grows with prior pregnancies, and roughly doubles when a first-degree relative has had twins. Maternal age outside ten to sixty years fails with invalid_input and is not billed. The same deterministic module powers the free browser widget and the API path, so education pages, intake forms, and automation never disagree. Treat the JSON percentage as an educational arithmetic aid, not a diagnosis, an assisted-reproduction counselling figure, or a substitute for ultrasound confirmation of chorionicity.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
