Malaysia COVID vaccine queue - priority phase calculator
Malaysia's first COVID-19 immunization campaign was sequenced through the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme, known as PICK.
Run — free
Early vials went first to frontliners, then to older adults and people with comorbidities, then to the remaining adult public. This Malaysian vaccine-queue calculator assigns a PICK-style priority phase number from three facts you already know: age in years, a closed occupation code, and whether a comorbidity is present. It returns the matching phase number, a short label, a priority rank, the criteria that fired, and an eligibility status for the original adult and adolescent programme. An occupation code that is not on the published list is rejected as invalid input rather than being silently mapped to the general public. The free browser widget and the prepaid API share one isomorphic module, so classroom keys and automation pipelines always agree. Treat every result as an educational reconstruction of the 2021 sequenced framework, never as a live MySejahtera booking, a medical order, or a substitute for the Ministry of Health. Successful API calls use the published $0.002 per item; invalid input is not billed.
How to use it
Enter your values in the form above. The tool checks them before calculating and shows the result on the same page.
Check your inputs
Use the labels and units shown next to each field. If something is missing or outside the allowed range, the page points to the field to fix.
Use it again or automate it
Use the browser tool for individual checks and the API when you need the same capability in an automated workflow.
What you can do with it
Get an answer now
Enter one set of values and see the result without building a spreadsheet or script.
Compare scenarios
Change one value at a time and rerun the calculation to understand what affects the result.
Automate repeated work
Use the API when the same calculation needs to run inside your product or workflow.
FAQ
How is the Malaysian COVID-19 vaccine priority phase assigned?
Send age in years, occupation (healthcare, security, frontliner, education, essential, or other), and comorbidity as a boolean. The API walks a PICK-style waterfall and returns the highest matching phase number plus eligibility_status.
What happens if the occupation code is not recognized?
The task fails with invalid_input. Occupation must be one of the published codes; unknown values are not silently mapped to other, and the request is not billed.
Who counts as eligible?
eligible is true for phases 1 through 4, which cover the original adult and adolescent sequenced programme (age twelve and over). Children under twelve receive phase 0 with eligible false.
Does this book a vaccine appointment in Malaysia?
No. It is an educational reconstruction of the 2021 PICK sequenced framework. It does not call MySejahtera, reserve a klinik kesihatan slot, or give medical advice.
What does the Malaysia COVID vaccine queue calculator cost?
The browser tool is free. API requests use prepaid KIT balance at $0.002 per successful call; invalid input is not billed.
For developers — API access
Everything on this page is available programmatically. This section is for teams who want to wire it into their own systems; everyone else can just use the tool above.
API endpoint
Prefer to automate it? One authenticated POST creates the task; the result comes back by webhook or a signed link. The same capability also runs here on the web, by email and from Telegram — and soon from our app too.
