This capability appends the combining long stroke overlay (U+0336) after every base character so the string still pastes as plain text yet renders with a horizontal line through each letter on modern systems. Encode mode turns readable prose into struck-through form for drafts, corrections, price cuts, and playful captions. Decode mode strips combining long and short stroke marks so moderation tools, search indexes, and storage pipelines can recover the underlying wording. Existing stroke overlays are not doubled on encode, so re-running the transform on already-struck text stays clean. The free browser path and the paid API share one pure deterministic function with no network and no randomness, so demos, scripts, and golden tests always agree on the same result for the same input.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.

Errors

HTTP	Code	Meaning
`401`	`unauthorized`	Missing or invalid API key.
`402`	`insufficient_balance`	Your balance doesn't cover the task price.
`404`	`unknown_type`	That task type doesn't exist.
`429`	`rate_limited`	Too many requests. Use the webhook instead of polling.
