This school-focused calculator converts ordinary decimals into that form and expands scientific notation back into ordinary decimal digits. Unlike a bare formatter, it identifies the coefficient and exponent separately, shows both equivalent forms, and explains which direction the decimal point moves. That makes it useful for checking math homework, science worksheets, laboratory exercises, and lesson examples. The calculation is deterministic and preserves the submitted digits through string-based place-value arithmetic. Use it free in the browser or through the API for $0.002 per successful item.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
