This normalize whitespace tool takes non-empty text, trims the ends, and collapses every run of whitespace — including ordinary spaces, tabs, carriage returns, and line feeds — into a single ASCII space so the result is always one clean line. Empty or whitespace-only strings fail with invalid input so pipelines never store a blank after a cleanup step. Use it before indexing, before hashing a title, before comparing user answers, and before writing a one-line CMS field. The free browser widget runs entirely on your device; the prepaid API charges $0.002 per successful item when servers and SDKs need the same deterministic tidy step in bulk.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
