In its standard zero-based form, the first three terms are all one, and every later term adds the value one place back to the value three places back. This calculator returns one exact term for a non-negative index, together with the convention and recurrence used. It is useful for checking coursework, validating programs, exploring recurrence relations, and avoiding accidental confusion with Fibonacci or Padovan numbers.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.

Errors

HTTP	Code	Meaning
`401`	`unauthorized`	Missing or invalid API key.
`402`	`insufficient_balance`	Your balance doesn't cover the task price.
`404`	`unknown_type`	That task type doesn't exist.
`429`	`rate_limited`	Too many requests. Use the webhook instead of polling.
