Enter the liquid already specified by a recipe in US cups and the baking altitude in feet. The calculator adds exactly one tablespoon for every one thousand feet, converts that addition to cups, and returns the adjusted total. It uses continuous proportional scaling, so partial thousands of feet receive a proportional addition. The calculation is deterministic, runs without network access, and rejects missing, non-numeric, non-finite, or negative values instead of silently guessing. It is a practical planning formula, not a substitute for observing a particular dough or batter in your oven.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
