Homeowners, drywall finishers, and renovation estimators often buy the wrong amount of orange-peel, knockdown, or popcorn material because coverage is printed per gallon of mixed mud while bags are sold by weight with an approximate mix yield. The engine accepts area in square feet, optional coverage in square feet per gallon, coats, a waste percent for overspray, and gallons of mix per dry bag. Effective area multiplies raw area by coats and the waste factor; gallons divide that by coverage; bags ceiling the gallon need by bag yield. Defaults of two hundred fifty square feet per gallon, one coat, ten percent waste, and five gallons per bag match common medium orange-peel spray practice. The response is fully deterministic with no network calls, no sampling, and no date-dependent shortcuts. The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
