Dim a color by reducing HSV value

This HSV color dimmer creates a darker version of a hex color by decreasing the value component while preserving hue and saturation.

Enter a three- or six-digit hex color and choose the percentage of its current value to remove. The tool returns a normalized source color, the dimmed hex code, integer RGB channels, and the resulting HSV components. Because the calculation is fixed arithmetic with explicit rounding, identical inputs always return identical results. Invalid colors and percentages outside zero through one hundred produce a clear input error instead of a guessed or silently corrected result.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
