Translating “forty-five minutes at one hundred seventy-five Celsius” into a LOW or HIGH setting is not a simple linear scale: moist braising heat and sealed evaporation change how long a dish needs. This slow cooker time converter applies the common three-band conversion chart used across crock-pot guides—short, medium, and long conventional cooks map to fixed LOW and HIGH hour ranges—and returns midpoints plus min/max bounds you can put on a card. Optional oven temperature is converted between Celsius and Fahrenheit for a suitability note only; it never invents a different hour table. Cook time must be positive. The free browser path and the paid API share one pure function, so meal-plan apps, recipe CMS plugins, and kitchen demos never disagree on the same inputs.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
