This calories per serving calculator turns the calorie total for a complete recipe into an average value for one serving.

Supply the total calories contributed by every ingredient and the number of servings produced, and the calculator divides the first number by the second. It validates both required fields, rejects negative totals and non-positive serving counts, and returns a deterministic result rounded to six decimal places. Use it for recipe cards, meal preparation, nutrition planning, or repeatable application workflows where a clear, auditable formula is preferable to manual arithmetic.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.

Pricing

Per request$0.002

Published price — no tokens, no invented credits. A failed task is never charged.

Errors

`401`	`unauthorized`	Missing or invalid API key.
`402`	`insufficient_balance`	Your balance doesn't cover the task price.
`404`	`unknown_type`	That task type doesn't exist.
`429`	`rate_limited`	Too many requests. Use the webhook instead of polling.
