This billable hours calculator subtracts non-billable time from hours worked, multiplies the remainder by the hourly rate, and returns the invoice total you can drop into a draft, a timesheet review, or a billing script. Non-billable hours default to zero when omitted. A negative hourly rate is rejected as invalid input rather than producing a signed invoice. The same deterministic arithmetic powers the free browser widget and the API, so a check on the landing page matches a later automation run. Successful calls are billed at $0.002; invalid input is not charged.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
