This sand calculator turns plan area, fill depth and bulk density into a deterministic cubic volume and total weight so you can size a bulk delivery, a bag count or a wheelbarrow schedule with the same numbers every time. The engine multiplies area by depth for volume, then multiplies volume by density for weight, using one consistent unit system you choose. Non-positive area, depth or density fails with a clear invalid input error so estimators and mobile forms can validate before a purchase order. The browser widget runs free on your device; the prepaid API charges $0.002 per successful item when renovation apps, landscaping takeoff tools and SDKs need the same contract under KIT balance without reimplementing unit consistency in every language.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
