The identity is simple and exact: p percent equals p over one hundred, then numerator and denominator are divided by their greatest common divisor so the result is in lowest terms. Classic checks include forty percent becoming two over five, twelve point five percent becoming one over eight, and one hundred percent becoming one over one. The engine is fully deterministic arithmetic with no network calls, no random sampling, and no date-dependent shortcuts, so the same percentage always yields the same fraction string and the same integer numerator and denominator. The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
